We already know the song is coming out in May. New music is typically released on Fridays and there's four Fridays in May: 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. Bets on the date, anyone? Katy had said somewhere between Roger's birthday (4/26) and John's birthday (6/20). (For the record, I googled that.) The closest Friday to that between date is 5/21. A quick search for songs that were big in the summer months in the last 40 years reveals that many of them were released in the first three weeks of May, so if DD's objective is to get this song heard over the summer then 5/7, 5/14, or 5/21 would be the logical candidates. It's also worth noting that DD had a couple huge summer hits during their heyday. Hungry Like The Wolf was released 5/4/82 (in the U.K.) and AVTAK was released on 5/6/85. I think 5/7 would be too good to be true and 5/21 is too late, so I'm predicting 5/14. Thoughts? I’m gonna say 5/14 as well. 5/7 is close plus Coldplay is dropping a new song that day as well from what I hear. Not sure if the label wants to compete with that.

It's interesting but alternative bands, even well known like Depeche Mode, are not much active on FB. It would seem that they should use FB more as an easily accessible promotional platform. DD is more active than Bruno Mars & Taylor Swift, this is very strange...

No individual under the age of 25 uses it, they are all on Instagram or TikTok. I would say Duran’s demographic of 40+ is ecactly the target group of fb.

That said, I hope I'm wrong and Invisible is released on 5/7.

I can actually see this song dropping on a weds. Most songs have Friday releases but some artists like to drop on weds as well in a effort to avoid being lost in the new music Friday drop.
I would hope to see some teasers pop up in the next few weeks if this is indeed happening.

Not true .. I know a ton of people under 24 with FB accounts and they are posting daily.. many high school kids and college kids are on it... Not over here Well here are a few stats for you on FB: If anything Duran fans don't use FB! lol I have noticed U2 is using more FB--I keep getting old concerts popping up from the band from time to time... There are over 2.8 billion FB users: Facebook has 2.80 billion monthly active users (Facebook, 2021). If that number doesn't blow you away, it also has 1.84 billion users that are visiting the social networking site on a daily basis. Users ages 25–34 years are the largest demographic. In the distribution of global Facebook users, 19.3% were male users between 25 and 34 years old and 13.1% were female users in the same age range. While Facebook users can be found at all ages, 72.8% are within the 18–44 years old range.
