The teenage fan of Boca Juniors -- the club for which famed Argentine soccer legend Maradona played -- asked the artist to tattoo the team's logo on his back. The tattooist, however, was a fan of rival club River Plate and decided to have some fun at the Boca loyalist's expense, Terra Argentina reported Monday. The victim, whom authorities did not identify because he was underage, said he did not realize the artist's chicanery until he went home and show the tattoo to his parents.

As someone who's been caught up in a few nasty team rivalries, I'm not surprised at some of the shit people pull. That is a bit far though. I don't believe in tattoos, but if I did I'd definitely check to see who the artist is a fan of. lol Wouldn't be a big problem here, local loyalty is pretty strong.

Bleh. Breech of professional ethics aside, that would only be funny if it wasn't permanent.
There's a story over on hanzismatter.com about a guy who went to get a Chinese character tattooed, and the tattooist, who was Chinese, tattooed a phrase that said something along the lines of, "I'm an idiot with a tattoo I can't read." The guy didn't know he'd been duped until months later when his waitress at a Chinese restaurant did a double take.
Not funny either.

You earned one from me ;D I had to laugh at the story, way too funny! Thats why when doing a tatoo, you go with a friend to make sure. I know by my own experience getting a tat on the back is tricky, thats when I go with a (sober) friend ;D |
