Fantastic! Thanks so much Mark for this space! It's really the only forum I contribute to. Such a great group of people here that are able to discuss an underrated older band in an intelligent and thoughtful manner.

This place is 15 years old today! Many thank you's. Nice mostly chill crib for good sharing of all things Duran Duran. If Duran Duran is the band designed to make you party, then this place is like the after party between albums and tours.

Yay! Thanks to Mark and other admin for facilitating. Looking forward to a new year of Duran related pontificating, and other nonsense.

Thanks for setting this up Mark. I've been here since Day 1...and remember that lost feeling everyone had when DD.com shut down the forum.
Lots of the regulars from yesteryear are gone...but the passion is still here.
Which makes me think...did I ever see a Future Past review from Stuporfly? I may have to do a search.

Lots of the regulars from yesteryear are gone...but the passion is still here. Yeah, seems to be the last forum standing...Lizard King used to be a powerhouse about 20 years ago...then seemed to be on life-support last time I looked....wonder what happened to all THOSE fans.... I think it really is about the atmosphere. I was on LK for a short while just before Paper Gods was to be released. It was fine. But there was a conversation, which I can't be bothered to remember. I do remember the person responding was a ridiculous Justin Beiber Fan, and it was quite uncalled for. That response set a tone that I observed in other threads and I decided quickly that I didn't want to be a part of that kind of conversation. Apparently I was not alone. I have not had many experiences like that here. There have been a couple times something set me off. But one was not personal (and of course involved Warren and Andy lol). And the other was more personal and i communicated my thoughts clearly and moved on (and still speak to that person because we both know it was dumb and we're both grown ups). But mostly it's been enthusiastic and informative conversation with a bit of silly, which I like.
