Tony T seems so sweet, what a waste considering we lost him at 48
To quote Robert & Bernard “Andy’s the volatile one, attacks things, abrasive usually very rowdy and angry” Too funny really & I can only imagine how big for his boots AT got, especially after doing The Power Station
Thanx for sharing A

Many years ago during the Living In Fear tour, Andy, Robert and Tony were kind enough to come out and meet the fans that were lined up outside the venue prior to the show. Andy was the first to come out, followed by Robert, however, when Tony came out he apologized to everyone and stated that he had to leave to do something prior to the show and promised to make it up to us afterwards, which he indeed did. Tony came out after an incredible performance (where he played so intensely that he went through two snare drums) and spent well over an hour with the fans. He and I had a great conversation about his drumming style and the beginnings of disco music before taking a photo with me and signing my Power Station CD. He was a true gentleman and one of my all-time favorite drummers.

How good is it when such a thing/opportunity happens maybe it’s a chic thing? 😂, in 2013 I spent aprox 45 minutes talking to Nile in a hotel lobby, he was happy to do so and I think impressed with the fact that I was aware of his many “productions” in addition to his DD works. that disco conversation musta been something, good for you nr I must say, I gave the Huston live 85 gig a listen yesterday (which Andre posted on this thread) and OMG the guy doesn’t miss a beat, in fact his drumming shines and is so evident regarding how well he could play and what a brilliant drummer he was as do his studio recordings.
