To add to this yet again, I did take a picture with my phone of the order screen this morning and sent it to a friend. This is what the text of the order screen said: Duran Duran return with their new album Danse Macabre. The 13 song collection features: three brand new songs; haunting covers of songs by artists such as Billie Eilish, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones and The Specials; and new versions of Duran Duran classics from their own catalog. It also includes a rare b-side and fan favorite: "Secret Oktober 31st". Guest artists include producer, guitarist and composer Nile Rodgers, Victoria De Angelis of Måneskin and former band members Andy Taylor and Warren Cuccurullo. Exquisitely packaged featuring images adapted from a collection of authentic vintage séance photos that band member Nick Rhodes sourced at auction. It includes with an accompanying poster and is exclusively pressed on translucent vinyl. Oh, and the items ships on or around October 27th, 2023. You'd think it'd ship a bit earlier in time to receive before Halloween. Bollocks to Halloween. Warren’s back in the playing field. Right now I couldn’t give a crap if they released Future Past for Christmas. |

Long time lurker, very occasional poster. I must say I am totally underwhelmed with this project and see it as a disaster.
Glad Andy is back on board and good to see. Would have preferred to see this as a special type fan EP but as an album......nah
It's lazy and the perfect excuse for the old type reviews to come back aka Thank You type critics.
Just my opinion but give me a proper album anyday and let UB40 stick to the covers

TY were songs all over the place with no theme covering multiple genres ..this has a proper theme and if many artists can do a Christmas album..well this is Nick's Christmas album....just 🎃... |
