Too bad there won't be a physical single for DM. It'd be nice to have it on 7", 12" or CD single. It's fantastic artwork to have on a 12" single.

Whatever track that is, it sounds incredible. Early Duran / first album Vibes. agree sounds incredible I reckon it’s the beginning of a track coz it appears to be shut off as soon as the groove would start who knows i remember the tease snippet bass/guitar riff of Anniversary prior to its release and I couldn’t work out was it the middle 8, verse part or beginning ? turns out I was wrong with all three

The tour kinda had a pall cast over it when Michael Hutchence did what he did. Simon was pretty down in the dumps and you can hear it in the Pleasure Island recording. It's really too bad there isn't a soundboard quality recording from earlier on in that tour. It might have been more peppy. And of course most of those Medazza songs were never played live again.
💯 I think they even played So Long Suicide in Boston & CT and I missed those shows and only saw them in NY. I have a bootleg of the CT one, but it’s a bad audience recording. For those who will know, this is your friendly neighbourhood diatribein returning to the board... So I was at the Boston show at the Orpheum in 1997 and not only did they play the version of Secret October that you can hear on the "Thanksgiving Live - The Ultra Chrome, Latex And Steel Tour" release, they did indeed also play So Long Suicide. This was my absolute favourite Duran Duran show I have attended in my life. It was also my first. They were in spectacular form. The set list was amazing. It was just awesome in every way possible.

That’s great - the NY show at the Beacon a few days later was my first!!! I still kick myself for not seeing them 3x (I live in CT).

If anyone sees any hi res pictures of new single or artwork please share. The best I have found is 1080 X 1080 so far. Apple music/itunes usually has 3000 X 3000, but I can't find the itunes webpage for the song yet.

Was that also the Orpheum show where the power went out and Dale B. came out for the impromptu mini acoustic set? Yes! Yes it was

I was at that one too - it was weird...but fun I still have my ticket and the set list I grabbed from the sound board after the show. I am struggling to remember... did they play Undergoing Treatment after the power came back on? It went out during Rio, I remember that much!
