Don't know where I'll be, but it won't be anywhere near a shopping center.

That's what you think! It's what I KNOWLMAO!!! I'm sleeping late, I have most of my christmas shopping done. In the afternoon I will be shopping for dresses though, I was asked to be a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding. A bridesmaid at 41, I guess I represent the old...LOL!!!!

The very thought of bucking the crowds, the rude clerks, the gas I spend to get there which more than makes up for any savings. NOT!
We've cut way down on Christmas shopping anyway. I'm as materialistic as the next person, but somehow the whole buy, buy, buy philosophy seems particularly greedy this time of year.

More power to those of you who enjoy Black Friday shopping. I work in a Regional Office for a major outlet retailer and I have to work. I will be working from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm collecting all those lovely sales reads from the Midnight Madness crowds through the Early Bird promos.
NOTHING could tempt me to go shopping on Black Friday. It makes me really ugly and makes hate people with a passion. I don't mind paying a coupld extra bucks for things and not deal with the idiocy.
Happy Bargain Hunting! squeak

I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. It's a lot of fun when you go with other people. But normally, I scan the ads for one or two items I want, stand in line, get it and then go bacl to bed. It's not an all day thing for me. Plus this year a lot of my Xmas shopping is done. Black Friday shopping is nearly always for me anyways. I refuse to camp out, though. That's insane. Used to be you could line up at Best Buy around, oh, 5am. Not anymore and that sucks. I'd be too bored.

I have been watching the Black Friday website for months now! LOL.. Although I am not sure I will actually get out on Friday I have done some shopping on line already. Toysrus.com has free shipping on allot of their items so I did some shopping that way & the walmart ad thru blackfriday.com has 30 items that u can buy NOW. So I did that option also. They had a XBOX 360 bundle for 279$. Also Dell is having a real good sale on some laptops and some desktops as well. As for the other stores I really didn't see anything that I just had to have on Friday at 5am.. Also last weekend Sears.com had a real good sale from Sunday to Monday. I was able to get my mom a real nice robe for 20$ and it originally is a 50$ robe! I do luv the Black Friday website though. Shop on everyone!!!!

I work in the am.
I only got up one year and then the store opened at 7am. I dont think I could get out of bed at 4am just to save a few bucks.
