My sympathies to you, Tin. I've been there too. It is truly heart-wrenching. I thought I'd never stop crying.

Sorry to hear your loss, Tin. I remember being there, too, and it was hard. I'm sure that she knows that you made the best decisions for her.
*hugs*

Oh Tin! I am so sorry and feel your pain. I lost my beloved Winston after almost 15 years this past April. He was literally my best friend and constant companion. We went through a lot together and I still miss him everyday. I was quite inconsolable for awhile and never thought I could open my heart to another dog again but in July I welcomed Simon into my heart and though he will never replace Winston he brings me love, joy and lots of puppy antics that crack me up. I'm sure Winston and all the other furkids have welcomed your kitty to the Rainbow Bridge and they are happy and healthy again just like we remember them! Peace and hugs to you and yor family. Winston Simon

It's so sad to lose a pet - they're part of the family. But you did the right thing, at least she's no longer suffering. *hugs*

Thanks all. I am feeling much better the "day after". We have another new little kitten in our family now . . . my daughter named her "Joy".

sorry for you honey.
we have a doxie who is going on 20 years old. she can't see or hear, she's incontinent and she cries sometimes, but my stepmother keeps waffling on what to do with her. What makes it worse is that all the vets around here want $200 to do a full examination of the dog before agreeing to put her to sleep. It's torturing my stepmother.
i'm sure you did the right thing. hang in there. jen

Thanks, Jen, we are. It's hard at the moment because we keep expecting to see her around the next corner; but she's not there anymore. The kittens are helping . . .
Thanks again all for your kind words.
