My brother's cat which we got for him over 18 years ago had to be put to sleep today. He had kind of been passed back and forth between me and him, and ultimately ended up with my mom about 9 years ago. Eric had been travelling alot with his job and decided that Max would be good company for our mom after our dad died. He had one of the best personalities I'd ever seen in a cat, loved everyone he met and was alot of fun to play with. Several months ago his health took a sudden sharp decline, and while his age was surely part of it, we suspect he may have gotten some of the tainted pet food that was out at the time. RIP Max. We'll never forget you.

Sniff. Bye bye Max. Sorry for your loss. 18 is a ripe old age for a cat.

Thanks everyone. I still have my cat, she lived with Max for a few years too, and seems to know he's gone.

Aww, so sorry to hear about your kitty. At least Max led a long happy life with a family who loved him.
