Just saw the cutest trailer for Life on Mars which returns Tuesday 13 Feb. Really looking forward to it. Going to be interesting to see how it ends. Here's the trailer in a Camberwick Green Stylee. And here's screen shots of Sam and Gene The Beeb do the coolest trailers!

I love that show ;D. Some of the episodes I was not crazy about but I put the ones I was able to pull off BBC On Demand onto disc. I think I am missing an episode. I've got 1-8.
Thanks for the heads-up!!

oooooooohhhhhhh! can't wait!!!!
what I love about John Simm - not only is he cute (despite his football allegiance) but you always know you'll get real quality when you watch something he's chosen to be associated with (again, footie aside)

AFAIK, dodger, there were only eight eps in the first series/season/whatever. (checks BBC.com) Yup. Only eight.

The trailer's so so smart! It was a bit of a surprise hit, wasn't it - 'cause you hear the synopsis and think "whaaaaat?!"... but it works I'm looking forward to the new series, I read that won't be doing a third and that they've filmed two different endings to keep everyone guessing.

Oh yeah... the first time I saw the ad on tv, I thought it was Gary Linekar!

It will keep me sufficiently distracted until Doctor Who comes back.
And even though Life on Mars will be finishing, there's rumours that Gene Hunt is getting a spinoff. That would be the coolest thing in the world!

*waves hand in the air emphatically* I love Life on Mars!!!! Unfortunately I have DirecTV so I don't get BBC On Demand. I know I'm missing like 20 mins of each show.

Is this on BBC America? Haven't seen it yet but I'm addicted to BBC America. I love Ny Lon and Love Soup.

Yes, it was on BBC America on sundays last year. I thought it was a great show. Excellent use of music and just enough clever pop-culture jokes. TVs in a pub? Are you kidding? I was glad to hear that it's only going to have one more season, it could get silly if they drag it out. About the spin-off, I don't know how that could work but I guess that depends on how they deal with LOM. If it's all a coma dream then I guess they could spin it off just using the 70s characters as though Sam was never there.
