Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran stated: "We first met Diana in 1983 at a Prince’s Trust concert in London and were immediately struck by her remarkable charisma and charm. She was effervescent, with a passion for everything she did, and she always loved both music and the arts. The concert next summer seems an entirely fitting way to celebrate her life and her work. A beautiful fitting Tribute to Diana. Looking foward to the Concert (well at least by TV I hope). Anyone actually going??

Yeah, the event will be special 'cos the album won't be released at that time and they will have to play Hungry like the wolf...........................again!

I believe beccij is. LikeAnAngel (sweetiepie) tried to get us tickets, but they went FAST! I'd rather watch on TV anyway - that way I only have to listen to the few bits I want to! some of us are planning to get together and party while it's on...  edited cos I forgot LAA changed her name here! |

More tickets will come available, but who really wants to wait in a crowd the size it will be to hear maybe five songs and they won't be anything we haven't already heard numerous times. Plus, if it rains that day!
TV is the way to go!

maybe five songs and they won't be anything we haven't already heard numerous times. although, if there's a chance of a single before the summer (according to Klaus' source) and well - Justin's tour hits London on the 7th July; this concert is on the 1st... just sayin'....  |
