I would listen to it if there was a link in this thread ;D There is a link in the 1st post to the band's myspace page as well as to the anti-hit list......which had the same link to the band's myspace page. Oh thanks Kelgura - the links don't show as links in my layout I can't say i like the country version very much...

I like country too, but I don't know about that. I am NOT a fan of cover versions.

I like country music. But, I prefer the original on that one.

I started to listen to it. but after "here a way out west" I shut it.
I had a different sound envisioned in my head. One that sounded more 70's country. it would be more fitting.
The song requires a deeper vocal and I believe there should be a fiddle section.
that is my two cents.
this version is too slow and the vocals need to be deeper. (more baritone and less tenor)

I usually don't like country, but this is.... ok.
I kind of like how the chorus is done; but if I had heard this without knowing about it in advance, I wouldn't have recognized it.
It reminds me of the cover of 'Mad World' by Gary Jules (originally a Tears For Fears song). It's too slow for my tastes, but still does the song justice.
