I heard about Mika for the first time last week.
He has Freddy Mercury's voice, and his music is influenced by the Scissor Sisters.
His music is a bit weird but I think I like him...

There's a bit of Rufus Wainwright about him, too! I went to youtube, and saw three nice live performances, a lip-synched perf., and one that was kinda embarrassing, but "grace Kelly" is a great song - looking forward to his US release.

my colleagues were talking about this guy a few weeks ago, and I'd never heard the song. I finally got round digging it up online - and I couldn't bear to listen to the whole thing! Boy - it really takes all sort, eh?
I believe it's a big hit (bloody hell, I sound like my dad...) but luckily I've still not heard it anywhere else.
I love my chart-shunning radio station!
