Myspace, i just cant figure it out! how do you guys really use it? I downloaded a screen template and it says im drunk and im so confused!

Thanks everyone. My first question is this...what do you use it for? Do you just post info about yourself, or use it to send messages back and forth, or both. I get why bands use it. In fact I tracked down an old friend thru his band site recently. But what do YOU use it for? That's the first "how" in my question. The second "how" is how do I navigate it. What are the important features? What should I be sure to have on the page? Last, I need a decent template. ONe that doesn't know whether Im drunk or not. I chose this one because I like the color...

I use myspace for contacts. for a while I used it as a showcase. I go through these phases where I hate it.
right now I hate it cause some striper chick keeps inviting me as her friend. is it someone here?
is there something I should know?

Jen, you can do anything in the world on it as possible. When you log on, you see
a log on page that is yours. Click on EDIT PROFILE and add pictures or things about yourself.
Just click around the place and you will see the things you can do with it.
It's like an internet pen pal place.
