I thought he was really good, all things considered with all that sucky rain!! I loved that he sang old stuff and threw in a little Foo Fighters. I just knew Prince was going to slip and fall on his ass. Of course my 15 y/o was sitting there going "He's old" Then I had to slap him around a little bit ;P

I enjoyed the Prince halftime. Does Prince ever age? He still looks as good as he did in the '80s.

I really enjoyed the HT show. I thought Prince really rocked! I also agree with msthunder...he doesn't appear to have aged a day since the eighties!

I loved the show as well. I actually turned on the superbowl just in time to see it, so I didn't know that it was raining and couldn't understand why he went on stage with his headrag on!
Oh, and as a Tallahassee lassie, I must give my kudos to the Florida A&M University Marching 100! They were awesome, once again (remember the band with Kanye West on the Grammies -- that was about 25 of the Marching 100). Also, a little trivia for y'all -- the band was bussed to Miami from Tallahassee (9 hours or so by car, so with a caravan of busses.... *ugh*) for rehearsal on Wednesday or Thursday, but had to return to Tallahassee on Friday for "financial reasons." Also, Prince had them change up how they usually perform. He wanted them to dance with their instruments while not playing and then stand still and play.
No, I didn't attend FAMU, but, heck, I never saw the Michigan State University marching band perform like that!

Even after all these years, Prince is still cool as all get out. The man doesn't age either...he just changes his hair style. I was impressed, especially with all that rain and I've been singing Purple Rain since the halftime show. LOL!

One thing about Prince is he is very consistent. I've never seen him give a bad or marginal performance. His voice is always solid.

I agree. Great HT show! He rawked...
I had heard he was going to do a tribute to James Brown though?!? I don't think he did it or did I miss it?? Maybe too much rain! It really looked like it was coming down while he was performing. He sounded great though.
