The show was GREAT, my 15 year old said through out his performance "OMG he sings this song too".
FAMU was great we were talking about how great they are (seen them on TV many times perform). I didnt hear about their financial troubles that sucks

FAMU has been having financial problems -- last year, the staff had to wait quite a while before being paid. They've finally got a president, though, so that is a good start. Maybe the success of the band (if not the football or basketball teams) will bring in some alumni donations.
As for the show, I was quite pleased with it. Now I gotta find me a Prince concert to attend!

I'm postin' late on this one, but Prince was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe he performed (some of) my all time fave Prince song, "Baby I'm A Star". I loved it and his do rag!!!  And Sanny, I agree 100%, he is a fantastic geetarist!!! ;D |

There was an article in the Toledo Blade today about how Prince's halftime show was generally considered fabulous, and sales of his records have spiked since his appearance. Whatever the opinion, it seems to have done all right for him!
