We get a lot of that here in AZ over the Summer. Parents "forgetting" their kids in the car when it's 110 out. Hubby has done autopsies on babies that have died from baking in a hot car. It's really sad. That happened a couple of years ago here. A grandmother 'forgot' to drop her two year old grandson off at daycare. (Um, it's rather difficult, me thinks, to realize there's a TODDLER in the car!!) And then there was the girl who left her kids in the car while she went in and got cranked on meth with a couple of guys in a motel room. These people aren't worth the powder it would take to shoot them. |

Just because people can procreate doesn't mean they can parent. Tell me about it. Its like they let the stupids out of the bag all the time. In Florida we heard stories too of babies being left in cars and dying. How can you forget your child in in the car? One of those primetime shows did reports of parents who left children in the car and got arrested. Each had the excuse of they were only going to be one minute. I think its illegal to leave a child under the age of 12 in a car alone in Florida, heat wave or not. |
