Just posting here to see if I could get some advice....
I had an interview with Build-A-Bear on 1/15.....met with the HR person and the hiring manager....went very well.
On 1/19, I was given a writing test to complete by 1/24.
On 1/22 I was called and they wanted me to meet with the Chief Marketing Officer on 1/24. Did that....went good.
I was told that the HR person would try and meet with the CMO that week for her feedback.
I didn't hear from her so on 1/30 I e-mailed her to check the status and she said that the CMO was traveling and she would be back in later that week for her to meet with her.
Well....last week came and went....
SO.....I am stuck and don't know if I should followup again.
Part of me says no but then part of me says it shows character to contact them again because they stated a date that they would deliver and they didn't....I should have the right to ask them.
Thoughts?

I would. It shows a certain amount of initiative on your part to contact them after the deadline that they set. I would make your email kinda of light (but professional) and say that "you just wanted to check in to see if you were able to meet with the CMO"
And if you email or have another conversation with the CMO, make sure to mention something about his traveling, like, 'hope your trip went well' or somethign like that.

If you haven't heard from the management passed the deadline, I'm afraid it's a bad sign. It happened to me, too. When I asked why, they told me that they were undecided on me and wanted to interview a few more people. I would not abandon the hope entirely, but it may be safe to start looking for an alternative.
