As we all know gasoline has become quite expensive and I was wonder how do you save money on gas? As for me, I drive up to the nearby "Park and Ride" to take the bus to wherever I want.

I saved by buying a Focus. Sure it's not the best car. However, I can fill it up with $15-$20 dollars every other week. I also try to walk nearby places and take public transportation when I can. People always beeaatch about gas prices. People would save if they didn't buy gas guzzlers. I loathe SUV's.

During the week, I try to run my errands on the way to work or the way home. On the weekends, I tend to use the Vespa scooter. The scooter has saved us so much gas money. Plus limited storage curbs my impulse purchases.
Now I only fill up my PT Cruiser once a week (instead of 2 or 3 times a week.)

I simply don't drive long distance as often as I used to.

If you had to pay gasoline $5.86 a gallon like we do here, you'd learn to save on it pretty quickly.
(I hope I did the conversion right, that would be €1,20/litre)

I hope you do consider getting one, I love mine!! Granted, you have to really bundle up when it's chilly outside, but it's very fun.

I'd only be able to use it here for about six months. That's the only bad thing. The winters here are bad. The summer would make up for it though.

I stay home...unless I absolutely have to be somewhere (like work).
