help me with my new PC!!!

Hi everyone,
We have a new compac laptop and i didnt come with any manuals, which is apparently the way things are now. Anyway there is a nav bar which appears at the bottom which has the battery icon and the "start" button, ya know? so last week it appears at the top instead of the bottom and i have no idea how it got there but ok no prob. Today, it's gone completely and I dont know how to find it!

CAn anyone help?

Hmmm, have you tried going to START, then control panel, then "TASK BAR & START MENU"

you should get a window & do your selection there, it should return it back to the desktop (make sure you "lock" the menu bar, so it wont disappear)

by accident you must have double click in the menu bar, darn things soo sensitive.


Since your START button it missing, go to your main computer C: & programs, then control panel (same as above), all your main stuff is in Control Panel
