ok then ... i'm "anissa" from southeastern colorado, very small town, very rural area. i am a single mom with two daughters, ages 12 and 3, who i adore. up until yesterday, i worked in medical records at the local regional hospital doing transcription and other misc. clerical duties, depending on what day it was. lol ... but now that i've been laid off, i guess i will be looking for a different career direction, as that is the only hospital within an hour's drive.
duran duran was the first band to really get my attention, 7ATRT era - looks, sounds and lyrics. have been a fan ever since and was able to finally achieve the lifelong goal of not only seeing the original five perform together, but thanks to JTsButterfly, i was able to meet them all as well.
was a member at the "other board" for 6 years and really enjoyed (most of) the people i met there. i look forward to making this place as "home-y" as the other one was for me.

Vicky from Surrey? Like Harry Potter Surrey? Sorry, that's my only frame of reference. My name is Corene. I live in Owings Mills, MD (near Baltimore). I own a medical research company. Basically, I contact all sorts of medical professionals to participate in clinical trials, surveys interviews and the like and pay them money to do it. I'm always looking for interested participants and would prefer to send the money to a fellow fan. I've been a fan since 85 or so. But also took a break until about 1999 or so. I've introduced my 11 year old daughter Rebecca to them and she loves them. Now she's my concert buddy, although somehow she always ends up in the front row. Does that make her a groupie-in-training? I hope not. Anyway, there's not much more to me other than that. What kind of trials? I might be interested.

My name is Amber. I live in Los Angeles, California and I've been here since 1999. Before that I lived in New York City for 13 years. I still consider NY 'home'.
I'm divorced and live with my roommate May whom is also one of my best friends. I have one son named Hunter and he'll be 8 years old in March - he is the apple of my eye and quite possibly the finest human being on this planet.
I drive a PT Cruiser and someday I'll figure out how to make babies with it.
I work for one of the largest wine companies in the world. I love my job. Adore my job. Worship my job.
I've been a Duran fan since 1985. I've been to 40+ of their concerts which is really quite insane - especially seeing as they are only my 2nd favorite band. Alphaville is my favorite band. Rammstein 3rd.
