This has been talked so many times.
In my opinion, it's NOT worthy. You pay way too much for just a "possibility" to meet and greet the band. You have to have luck to get great seats and the reception is a shame.
This is based on my own experience, of course. I'd never waste my money again.
I met the band paying a $ 50.00 ticket a few years ago. That was worthy!

I was going to say exactly as Adriana said--it is not worth it for the "Chance" to **possbily** meet them.
I've never met them and would love to. But from the pictures at the Orlando concert, EXcluding Mark and his wife, it appears to be DDM "special" people who got to "meet" them and I don't like those odds.
If I am paying $400 for a VIP Meet N Greet, I WANT to meet them, not just fight for the chance to.

It's a rip off. They charge way above price, and there is no guarantee you'll get good seats. It's always the same people who get meet and greets. In 2003 I didn't get VIP but still met them and got upfront at the show. There were many VIP's behind me. DDM is a scam. I belong to a few fanclubs and DDM is the worst one I've heard of. I had it for a year then cancelled. I'll never rejoin.

Although I don't agree it is a scam it is absolutely rediculous to charge almost £250 for a ticket, two drinks a crap bag with a logo on it and often there are 100 or more VIP's so the odds of getting picked when there are 5 winners are slim. At standing shows you can easily end up in the third row. Makes sense to be fourth row and have an extra £200 in your back pocket. Sales do seem to reflect the general consensus on VIP though as in the past they would all sell out on the day they go on sale. Now only a handfull for the tour have sold out so people are talking with their wallets.

Woah, you mean when you buy a meet and greet you don't actually get it??? then what the hell is like a contest or something, what's the point then....

Woah, you mean when you buy a meet and greet you don't actually get it??? then what the hell is like a contest or something, what's the point then.... you don't buy the meet and greet. you buy overpriced VIP tickets that include seats in the first 5 rows, a little reception and some sort of a cheap back pack or the like. out of the 100 to 150 people who buy those vip tics maybe 10 get the meet and greet. it's supposed to be a lottery, but it sounds like they do play favorites.
