One by U2. Not at all, Achtung Baby is the best album by Duran Duran they never recorded.

Faith No More - "Evidence"
I remember, when I first heard it, I thought that it sounds like from "Liberty" album. And video is also very Duran-like...

Marina & The Diamonds - Froot
A female singer and all, but the music gives me a bit of a Duran-vibe... especially during the chorus.

Simon once said that Reverend and The Makers' Heavyweight Champion of the World sounded like a Duran song too. With the frantic bass part seeming reminiscent of John's early-80's playing, you can see where he's coming from. I have never heard of Reverend and the Makers, but I definitely agree, that's definitely a Classic Old School Duran Duran sound.

Here's a good one:
Zee Avi: The Book of Morris Johnson
Something about the drums and beats and handclaps, the funky guitar and keyboards that really remind me of DD. It's a little NMOM.

An obvious one is Blur "Girls & Boys" The band's guitarist even said in an interview: "The album was the convergence of a lot of influences. Alex [James, bassist] wanted to be in Duran Duran" That's an incredible song, Alex James is an incredible bassist as well. Blur are releasing their first album in 12 years called "The Magic Whip". It is their first album with original guitarist Graham Coxon since 1999. I can't wait. I'm glad their back, I hated Gorillaz. I hope they tour the states! Alex also stated that he played "lots of Duran Duran bass" in an interview regarding Girls & Boys. And now JT returns the favour by copying that very same bass figure in the new title track, Paper Gods.
