well, I do agree with Katy's take on Roger, he is very engaging and talkative. ;D As far as Katy's book, DD likes to make money any way possible, Katy thought she could get some moolah too.....

In my opinion, the fact that she's trying to make money out of this "book" is very tacky and out of place. Me too. I have no plans to buy. I wonder if they'll edit out the real names. I would guess so. Someone could sue otherwise. I wonder what the law is regarding email publishing.

So. Is all her bloggy goodness going to eventually be part of the fabulous vanity publication Ask Katy? *snort* All her bloggy goodness is giving me a tummy ache.

I have no opinion on Katy herself one way or the other, but I am enjoying the little insider glimpses at the guys. Whitewashed? Of course. But still fun to read.
And really, was anyone in doubt that Roger is a sweetheart and a gentleman?
I do love the image of him as band garbage disposal (which is what we used to call the people you could count on to take care of any leftovers back in college).

I would guess so. Someone could sue otherwise. I wonder what the law is regarding email publishing. In my opinion, if someone sends an email in to Ask Katy, it is more than likely that they are sending it in for the strict purpose of getting it answered by one of the band AND published on the site. Just how many times have you seen people post "That's my question that just got answered on Ask Katy!"? Nobody has any problem when their question gets posted up for all to see on the website, do they? So, because the email is being sent in to a website that it has a fair chance of being posted/published on, and you are fully aware of this fact when you send that email , I'm of the belief that once the email arrives at it's destination (ie. the Ask Katy mailbox) it ceases to be a private correspondence, and becomes a candidate for submission to the site (ie published on a publicly accessible website), which is no different to getting a letter published in a "Letter to the Editor" or an agony aunt's column in a newspaper. Goodness knows, enough of those have published compilations of their previously received letters and emails - Katy isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before. That said, I've never bought one of these types of book before, and I don't plan to start with Katy's...Not my cup of tea.

Question... Does anyone have a picture of Katy? I have never seen her. There is a pic of Katy in the archive section on dd.com. Look under the DD Tourbook 03/04 and scroll thru to p.15 and you will see a pic of Katy with Simon.

thanks Maz - those are exactly my thoughts too, and you saved me from typing! I said something similar 'back there' when the book was first announced...
I doubt I'll be buying a copy - though it'd probably be quite a funny read...
