If this is true, I too suspect CAST is an acronym for the actual title...I won't even try to speculate what it stands for...

I'd be surprised if 14 was the number, especially considering the "lyrical impasse." Closest to 14 was TWA w/ 13 tracks--16 w/ the b-sides.

"Lyrical impasse" was a phrase Nick used during a Katy Kafe last month to describe Simon's challenge in coming up with lyrics...

Have to say I'm not keen on any of the song titles. "further your words" sounds terrible lol! I thought that years ago when Pop Trash came out, and I saw song titles like "Playing With Uranium", "Lady Xanax", etc. Little did I know that I would actually like the majority of those songs when I heard them, haha.

A source close to the band tells me CAST stands for "Could Andy Still Turn-up?".
