I am a make-up Whore, period. My bathroom counter looks like I could open a store. For moisturizers, though, I just use Oil of Olay. I put it on my face after I shower--and I use the Olay Body Wash with Body Butter ribbons. It's pretty inexpensive, and it makes my skin really, REALLY soft........and the Quench lotion works really well, too. For foundation, I like Max Factor--I forget what it's called, it's the stick kind. L'Oreal has a good stick foundation called Cashmere Perfect, a little more expensive, but that stuff ain't coming off until you take a sponge to it. Matte powder, and a brownish-hued blush.........usually Maybelline. Eyeshadow really depends on any neutral color that catches my eye. I have to wear strictly grey eyeliner because, well, if I wear anything else I look downright stoned. Liquid pen on the top, and pencil on the bottom. L'Oreal Telescopic Very Black mascara. And hands-down lipstick: Revlon Color-Stay lipliner in Mocha, and L'Oreal In The Buff 12 Hour Lipstick (and that shit stays on, too, girls!!) I know no one else mentioned it, but.......I just started using Herbal Essences 'None of Your Frizzness' shampoo and conditioner.......I don't have curly hair, it's really straight, but horrendously thick, so I am prone to the frizzies. This stuff has stopped it COLD, and at three bucks a bottle.......!! I have had perfect hair days for a week!! Now if I could just get rid of this cold sore............

Am a big fan of the Cosmedicine skin care line; you can get it at Sephora. Usually I tend to snort and roll my eyes at these pseudomedical skin care lines but this one really does the trick. I have skin that's so sensitive it gets irritated if someone on the street looks at it the wrong way. It's not cheap but I have to say it is the one expensive skin care line I've tried that's worth the dosh.

I'm usually very minimal with cosmetics, since my skin is very sensitive, and alot of stuff, especially if it's perfumed, makes me itch or break out. Burt's Bees is one of my favorite lines.
In the wintertime though, a jar of Eucerin is a lifesaver. It's about as pure a skin care cream as you can get.

Bare Minerals convert here and I highly recommend it -- especially if you have oily or combination skin! I love, love, love that stuff! Wearing liquid foundation makes me break out now -- and I always feel like I am wearing a mask. My makeup used to slide off my face around noon -- no problems with that now! Bought the starter kit last June and then bought another to travel with (since I travel so much for my job). I've also converted two colleagues to Bare Minerals -- I am a walking infomercial for that stuff!
Lipstick -- Maybelline SuperStay in Raisin, Sienna, or Cabernet. Eyes -- still learning how to put on eyeshadow -- I have a phobia about putting foreign objects near my eyes...

I just got the BE stuff and I haven't had a chance to use it. I did a test run. I'm just worried that it will blow off through out the day..lol We shall see.

If you have normal or combination skin, do use the Bare Vitamins moisturizer (or your favorite moisturizer). It does need some moisture to "stick to." The great news is that if you have oily/combination skin like mine, it doesn't slide off by lunch time.

This weekend was pretty cold so I stayed in and made body scrubs & Lippy lol I found a cool website have been posting recipes on my blog on myspace. Most things in the makeup biz are trial and error. There are two products that are my favorite right now
White eyeliner Estee Lauder Daywear Tint. The tint actually turns into the color of your skin so its always a perfect match . I use it with concealer . Its a nice break from foundation . Burts bees lip tint also
btw for chapped and flakey lips . Take some lip balm or some Vasoline Jelly mix some brown sugar with it . Then apply to lips wipe off with a tissue . It helps !
