Actually, I'm looking at the autograph one of my girls over on DDM got for me before Christmas. Something about a sexy pic of John, with "To Cat, John." scrawled on it makes me weak at the knees. ;D

I almost started a thread like this myself - last Monday I had to get a mole removed from my back. Early stages of skin cancer. So I thought I would only get two or three stitches - oh no! They had to cut so deep I had to get two inside and five outside
Then we realized that I'm allergic to latex so the bandage made me break out and itch.
But what sucks the most is that I still have many more to be removed.

I used to be afraid to go. now I just cant afford it. I had some surgery which I was awake for by a dental surgeon. He kind of laughed at my "white knuckles". I guess it was funny. but they numbed my skull up enough that you could have hit me with a hammer and I would only feel something hit me.

the stitches were uncomfortable but not as bad as why I got that surgery. (a nasty infection in my maxillia thanks to Dr. Asswipe)

I didn't go to the dentist for about 6-7 years more out of the fear of his clerk who keeps records of who'd paid and who hasn't.. I had an outstanding bill I still needed to pay off..

Lucky we personally know the dentist and he let the bill slide when he moved locations.... heheh now I got a new outstanding bill to pay off, not as big as the other.. will get paid off soon enough.. Well before I need to get my teeth cleaned again..

Hope you're feeling better. I hate the shots.. I've had a filling before without them (because I hate them so much) but it was worse. It didn't really hurt, it's just weird feeling.

I have been going to the same dentist for about 20 years. I worked at a dental office when I was going to college. He was a newly graduated dentist and we hung out quite a bit. Then he married one of my friends. His mother in law and my mother are good friends. It's a bit of a drive to his office from my home but it's worth it because I trust him.

wow - I hope you are all feeling better. What a sucky time!! We don't have dental insurance but I go every 6 months and take the kids too - prevention is much cheaper. ;D
