just my humble opinion that the guitar parts on the new songs that have been previewed so far sounding really good (being followed, all you need is now, blame the machines, mediterranea...). they stand out more than in the previous album and fits best with the Duran sound. thumbs up to Dom!

he's done a great job playing like Andy did in the early 80s. His parts sound authentic, as they should do since that is what he's being payed for.

he may be paid for his services but his parts are his own. he's a pretty good guitarist.

That's the point: of course he's good enough, Duran Duran wouldn't be paying a session guitarist if he wasn't good enough.

There is actually guitar on the song "All You Need is Now"? I don't recall hearing any. There is a little in the chorus. Mediterranea has plenty of nice guitar though

All I was saying is he's a good fit. As for the guitar parts on all of the songs...from what I have heard it's really good. I cannot wait fot the Tour dates to be announced.

There's a bit of guitar in AYNIN. Playing some nice little arpeggios in the chorus... works well!

I like the guitar parts too, although they do still seem a bit muted (as always). I think it's just a factor of Nick getting his way.
