ok - I just called the surgeon because I was worried that I hadn't heard from him yet. They haven't even started!!! Oh - I'm not sure how much my stomach can take. I just want to run out there and hug her. Thanks for all your thoughts guys - Ellie & I appreciate it.  |

I'm sure they have her resting comfortable while they prep for the surgery..
My friend's dog had to have surgery I think his knee and all went well.. He also suffered two broken toes after he got too close one her horses as puppy..

I totally know what you're going through. My "first born" had a tumor taken out a couple of years ago. I had butterflies for 3 days until I got the test results back. I broke down when it was all over. He didn't have cancer, but I had been holding in my worries for so long, it came out in great sobs of tears of joy. I miss Harley so much. He died of pneumonia last year.

 The surgeon just called and my baby is FINE!!!! She's out of it on morphine but he was very pleased with the surgery. Her tendon was completely ruptured and she did a little miniscus damage but he fixed it all. I get to go pick her up tomorrow and then all my work with her begins!! Thanks so much all of you for your thoughts, prayers, Vibes & karma sent to Ellie and me. It's going to be a long haul now with recovery but she is FIXED!!!!!!!! sanman - yeah, I've heard of the water therapy but we chose a surgery that had a shorter recovery period - therefore more expensive and I don't know if we can afford swimming too. Anyway the one time she went in the ocean, she was not fond of it at all! And she's the only one of her family to refuse to jump in the water trough out at the farm. My princess is not that kind!!! |

Good to hear that Ellie is okay!!
I think sick fur-babies are in some respects worse than sick kids. At least a human kid can tell you where it hurts.
