This is my firstborn, my precious Ellie. AKA Ellie the Aussie, Ellie belly, the Ellers.  In just a little bit, Ellie is going into surgery to repair her torn ACL. I am a wreck right now and would appreciate any positive thoughts and love that can be sent her way. I just can't wait to hear the surgeon's voice telling me everything went okay and my baby is fine. Thanks guys! |

Ellie is gorgeous!!! I'm sure she'll be fine. The trick will be keeping her calm while she heals.  Please let us know once you hear from the vet. |

Yeah Sanman - I know what you mean. She kept dropping her ball for us to throw it all the way up to surgery. Now that she will be able to put weight on it, we are in for it!!!

yeah. there was a neighbor dog who just had a hip operation. you could see the fresh shaven fur and the stitches. she just kept juking sanford, wanting to play. that poor mama.
i'm not sure where you live but water therapy (AKA swimming) after that type of surgery is excellent for the dog.
edited to add: DER!! I just read your mini-profile...DC Burbs. It might cost you a few bucks to take advantage of an indoor pool that allows four legged swimmers!!!
