My son lost his first tooth tonight. He was terrified of the tooth fairy coming...that is until he ran into our room at 2:30 in the morning screaming that the tooth fairy left him Brand New Mater (Cars toy). Hence, I am awake right now. He's so darn cute.

my son is five and a half and has a really wobbly tooth(fist one) So i was wondering....shall i try and pull the tooth out or shall i wait 'till it falls on his own?I am worried that he may end up swallow it or choke in his sleep. He can't wait for the tooth fairy to come...he's expecting money...

My son just lost his first tooth two days before Christmas. He did it at his own pace, and wound up pushing it out with his tongue in the car on the way home from Walmart.
The thing I was worried about was losing it in his bed. He's such a wiggle worm that we were both certain we'd never find it. He let us leave it in a cup on his end table. He woke us at 4 am because the tooth fairy left the dollar in the cup.

Cute! My son loves that movie. My dd wants to loose a tooth so bad! She is 5 and I guess some kids at school already lost some. She tells me at least once a week that she has a loose tooth and of course there isn't one. One day, thoguh she will be right!

Hey barbarw...when my daughter had such a loose tooth, I gave her a chewey piece of candy. Sugar babies, now or laters, or anything with carmel is good. Worked like a charm on the tooth that was just being held in by gravity. All her other loose teeth she has done herself.
