Well I finally watched of the Seatle auditions. Well it wasn't all too bad after the Darwin chick.. But someone finally got Simon laughing at that Red guy right at the end..
Next week will be interesting..

I have just started to watch it from this season. Some contestants were really funny and better be comedians than singers. But the Simon's comment -- "you look like a semean (sp)than a human" -- might have been too harsh. He could have simply turned the poor guy down by saying no. But he might be doing it on purpose to make the show more hillarious.

I think it would be a good move to open the audition age up to 35. I know they are trying to find the next young thing, but as far as talent is concerned, they may be more successful in finding talent this way.
Even though Taylor Hicks was only 29, he appeared to be older. I would be more interested in seeing some performers that aren't teenyboppers.

I am afriad that I am a sick little monkey. I enjoy the horror and shame of these innocent people who feel they have some sort of talent and end up humiliated. They weren't asked to be there, they just showed up and got picked. that is how it is.
THey never show the main stream people because it's just not that entertaining.
