Hillary or Obama...Hillary says a lot of things and Barack says nothing.
I'll have to wait and see as the Dem bid for candidacy gets down to the wire. As the race continues, Obama will HAVE to get specific on the issues.

I'll be moving to a remote island if she wins. (I'll prolly do that in a couple of years, anyway). I cannot stand her. She is a borderline socialist and that goes against every political belief I have. I prefer the smallest, most restricted government possible and she is the quintessential bureaucrat. Bring on the red tape, folks. BLECH. And Wesley Clark? I just want to slap that guy. Listening to the two of them together would be as bad as listening to Kerry/Edwards and that nearly KILLED me. I am not looking forward to having to listen to that damn silky pony Edwards again in the coming months. Sanny, let me ask you this: what's your views on universal health care for all Americans? Not in regards to what Hillary tried to do in '93 but I mean in general. I know some would consider that to be socialism but it seems to be working Ok another democracy (Canada). I know you have conservative leanings toward most political issues (not calling you a neocon, just saying what I see from things you've posted) so I'm curious as to what your take on the issue is. I am not in favor of giving the government any further control over anything. That's how I feel. I further feel that the standard of care would decline under a nationalized (socialized) health care system. As far as being conservative....I am FISCALLY conservative, as I am pro-free market and anti-tax. Many of my personal social views, however, tend to be QUITE liberal. With that said, I am wholeheartedly against any governmental policy that fosters dependence and a sense of entitlement. I feel that the burden of society should be shouldered by the private sector and also feel that you cannot legislate and regulate morality. ETA: I won't be voting for Hillary or Barack but given the choice between the 2...I prefer Barack.

Sadly, it's a boys club only. Thankfully, Hillary doesn't stand a chance.

alli can say is that it makes me sick that women will vote for her simply because she has ovaries. if you agree with her and can come up with a handful of reason that she would get your vote, then let me hear them. but voting for her just because she's a woman is disrespectful to the office.
ugh ... on a peronal note, i can't stand her.
and as far as obama ... he has far too little experience to become president. he is a great motivational speaker, and has great enthusiasm ... but neither of those equip you to hold the office of the president.

I would never vote for someone who has so little experience politically. It's insane to put someone in the highest office when they are such a newbie. Barack is no where near qualified for this position. I agree with the above, he is a fantastic motivational speaker but that is far different from being qualified to hold the highest office in a country. I'm Canadian though, so obviously I won't be voting in this one. Just wanted to add my view cos hey...... I'm cool and all that.

I don't care much for politics but as long as a Democrat is in the office then it's fine by me. Actually, since the last few years have been so dismal concerning the position of the US in the world, I will just be happy to be rid of W. He never has made me proud to be an American and it disgusts me to no end what he has done and not accomplished in his idiotic reign. I have respect for some Republicans but never for any member of the Bush family. Especially for one that does not have a clue on how to do his job.
(I could go on with my opinions but insulting my fellow posters/readers is not what I am here to do.)

I personally can't stand her. I didn't like her when she was First Lady and I don't like her now.

Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton...it will never happen. Where Bill was warm and engaging and likeable, she is not.
OBAMA all the way.
