Got the email about this and all the formats it's going to be on. As much as I love the band, I felt their work after Us and Only Us was a bit spotty. I dunno...it's like they'd lost this sound they had that I liked. All their albums up until that point I really enjoyed and thought Tellin' Stories was utter brilliance (maybe because the Chem Bros were noodling about with some of the tracks). Maybe I need to revisit the albums that came out after UaOU to see if they'll change my mind.

New Maroon 5 album stinks! Like Coldplay in the UK don’t get fascination? They have a few good songs but their albums are weak and like Coldplay more Guitar please!

Yeah guitars are there but no one is listening to maroon 5 for amazing guitar riffs. 🙃

Should be Adam Levine featuring Maroon 5 .. lol They aren’t even a true band…I would be pissed at him when his band mates aren’t even in the videos …

Three new RSD additions on vinyl. I say vinyl because the Tears For Fears live vinyl set and Ultravox are both available on CD. The Tears for Fears clear vinyl is the much anticipated live at Massey Hall from 1985. Ultravox Vienna uses an alternative cover artwork and contains an unreleased instrumental version of the album as well as a Steven Wilson mix of the original.. Finally, Suede ‘Love and Poison’ a live album (pressed on clear vinyl) that captures Suede at their humble beginnings in 1993 at The Brixton Academy. 1993. What a great year for music. Or was it very ordinary?

For any gearheads, or really anyone on this board who plays an instrument alone or in a band, the band I'm in played our first proper show in almost a year and a half last Saturday, and it went about as well as we could have hoped! We actually felt we could have play better, but the crowd was wowed and the venue already added another show (in two weeks) to the ones we already have booked for the Fall. While there IS a DD connection (we played Rio, along with ten other new songs, for the first time in public after working on it for months) this post is focused on the new pedalboard/power supply I used for the first time, with perfect results. Believe it or not, I had plugged each smaller pedal (and a power supply for each) in separately for years and years before every single show. I didn't think a pedalboard could work for me due to the different size/shape stages we play on, plus when I would go to someone's house for a "jam" (I hate that word) session or even for a practice, space is always limited so I would only bring, say, three to five pedals. Finally I gave in once I found one that can fit many pedals in a small space, not use velcro, and has a second raised tier so I don't risk bumping the lower pedals with my foot when I'm reaching for the upper ones:

It’s good to see other artists get involved. Also makes a change from my own posts about vinyl. It would be cool to see others write about their own passion.
