The comments I’m seeing from DM fans online in terms of setlists are mostly saying there should be more new songs from the well-received new album and more rarely played older material. Of course a lot of casual fans who only know the hits want to just hear the hits. Can’t win. Harold It's similar to DD, but I think DM so play more stuff from more recent (i.e. post-2000) albums - but they are committed to playing the key singles from Black Celebration through to Songs of Faith and Devotion. Imagine a DM concert without Never Let Me Down Again or Personal Jesus? Me neither. I do wish they'd do more stuff from the pre-Black Celebration era though, other than Just Can't Get Enough. Been listening to the new album in recent days. It's decent, but doesn't have anything to make it stand out from other post-Millennium albums they have made. Have to agree. I really like the new album but Ghosts Again is the only track that merges Depeche's post millennium sound with their 80s sound (to great effect.) I would have liked to have heard more tracks like this or ones where they lean into their 80s or early 90s sound more.

Fastest selling tickets quicker than Madonna, DM and the Cure. It's Queen's tour--man I am looking at tickets in my area and they sold out pretty quickly at many many US venues...
I don't mind Queen's music but I just don't see Adam Lambert as a Queen singer. He is decent but overall more karaoke than legit Queen lead singer....Freddie could NEVER be replaced..

Freddie can never be replaced, but I've seen them 3x since 2015 and these are some of the best shows I've ever been to.

It's funny when you realize that after 1980 they lost their audience in the US.

Maybe I'm deaf, but DM's last albums from Sounds of the universe to the last Memento mori all sound the same musically, without any change. They suffered a lot with the departure of Alan Wilder, he was a guy who could embellish their sound. Memento mori is also a disappointment for me, no musical development, it's the same as their last three albums for me. Average, mainstream pop. The only positive is that Gore only sings one song. I think Future Past is a musical revolution compared to Memento Mori.

Good interview with Stephen Duffy if anyone’s interested ? Not too much on DD but more so late 70s in Birmingham interestingly SD requested no questions about much of his work with other artists yet discussing DD wasn’t forbidden by him hifiplus.com/articles/music-interview-stephen-duffy/
