Its not a real vacation because I'll be doing some work. But its totally free so i can't complain much and besides, I'll be out out of New England the week of Halloween!
Being that its a really large conference, my job is to make sure all the computer hard/softwares are working during the whole trip They have this huge database which can get ugly since its going to be loaded on laptops, and then all the presentation equipment too. Though I'm sure I'll still have some downtime, I got a feeling I'll be avoiding a hella lot of dirty old(and young) men. They have the whole boat, its a Norweigan cruise ship.
Here's where the ship stops: Roatan, Belize City, Costa Maya, Great Stirrup Cay, back to Miami

I went with the anti-throw-up pills. Not cuz you'll be seasick or anything, but one bad piece of shrimp... you know. And if you barf on someone's computer, they'll probably toss you overboard.
Kidding aside, it sounds like a fabulous gig! Congrats on landing it!

I voted for tiara too. There are so few places you can wear one anymore. If you're trying to dodge dirty men, leave the CFM heels at home. |

I'd probably bring some probiotic capsules (acidophilus) just in case you run into a situation like they had last year with those illness outbreaks.
