Thanks bedhead, will do. I also have to go see my doc about some malaria shot? (WTF is that?) I didn't do all that for iceland (but it WAS iceland after all) I'm reading all kinds of stuff that I'm supposed to take aside from sunblock.. (maybe I should just stay my nappy ass on the boat???)
If I wear the tiara, I have to wear the cfms because they're ultra cute peeptoe Louboutin's that I got as a thank you...and seriously, where around here can I wear a 4 1/2 inch heel and not look doofy?
I'm pretty excited by getting this gig because this could lead to some other deals later...lets cross our fingers on that y'all (I need to finish paying for school!!!).

A couple of must-haves:
-nightlight, becasue those cabins are fricking pitch black at night
-your own wine, if they allow you to bring it on board, and a corkscrew- this will save you a ton of $$
-a thermal coffee mug so you can fill up and not have to go back in 10 seconds; a water bottle is a good idea also
-hand sanitizer
-teva-type sandals for any adventurous shore excursions
Finally, pack everything you think you want to take. Then, put half of it back and take twice as much money. Have a great time! I was actually looking at that itinerary for a winter cruise, so I will be curious to see how you like it!

Don't take the first drink they give you when you get on the boat!
You WILL have to pay for it and it's like $10! They totally tricked me! What else...OH! Be sure to sign up for some of the extras BEFORE you get to port. I hope you got a balcony room, to me there is no other way to go. AND HAVE FUN LUVER!

I concur with Denise!!! If you never been on a ship or get car sick real easy be sure to pack the sea sick pills. I hope you have fun!!
P.S. I'm going on a cruise with 30 friends in October!!

I'm going for the tiara, CFM heels and bathing suit combo. You'll never see these folks again. Make a sash too that says "I slept with your boyfriend" or something crude like that. Have fun with it and bring us back great photos.

P.S. I'm going on a cruise with 30 friends in October!! That's about how many were in my group when we went-it was a class reunion. Makes it all the more fun to have people you know around. She's right, they really gouge you on drinks. |
