If it really becomes popular overall I would expect to see the band start getting requests to play it live again. We'll see.

I love that the song is doing so well now. It's all very organic. I hope the band and mgmt learn from this. Viral marketing is the way.
Per my understanding it all originated due to a meme. Since the Tik Tok user couldn't use The Man Who Sold The World cover by Midge Ure (due to copyright maybe???) and opted for this song due to its lyrics and a similar production. Duran Duran gave kudos to the user on their Tik Tok account and he was very happy about it.
Now Invisible surpassed Pressure Off regarding streams, which is no mean feat, considering PO had a ton promotion. I wonder if the band is getting more profit from Invisible than Pressure Off now, considering Invisible is kind of "self promoting" and also because the song belongs to Tape Modern and not Warner.
I hope the song keeps growing streaming-wise. I don't think it will compete with Dua Lipa or something like that, but if it reaches a new generation of fans, regardless of the size, it's all good.

It'll register 10 million on Spotify today, most likely. I don't think we can say it has reached a tipping point, but it would be fun to see it truly go viral and quickly double to 20 million.

In the streaming age, the public is empowered and ultimately determine what should be a hit. 10MM streams on Spotify is around the corner , but I hope the song catches on and reaches a wider audience beyond the MSG heads. Since this song started trending I have gone back to Future Past and am now firmly convinced that it is a Mount Rushmore DD album. I really hope Invisible gives Future Past more exposure and one more of those first four tracks go viral. All of You and GIAU are peak DD songcraft.

If I take the nine best tracks (IMO) from each album and use those to rank them, Future Past is #5 for me, behind the first three and SRTR. It's that good.

I’ve always loved invisible, it’s strong, powerful and as usual unlike anything dd have done before while undeniably DD
Well that’s how my ears process it
The only issue I have with it is that as a lead LP track (LP opener) it’s unlike all other epic type tracks from all other dd LPs, at just over 3 mins, it’s like a radio edit
& I’d rather the choice of an official longer version, truth be known before I can get totally lost in invisibles songs essence, it’s ovah !
Why even stuff like Cinderella Ride clocks in at just under 4 minutes
I still love the song, just wish as an epic album opener we had a little more of it
Why after all, what’s wrong with making something that feels good last longer 😂
Which reminds me, it’s Valentine’s Day 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Happy Valentines Day to all,
🥂🍾
