I love that the song is doing so well now. It's all very organic. I hope the band and mgmt learn from this. Viral marketing is the way. This right here. In the streaming age, the public is empowered and ultimately determine what should be a hit. 10MM streams on Spotify is around the corner , but I hope the song catches on and reaches a wider audience beyond the MSG heads. Since this song started trending I have gone back to Future Past and am now firmly convinced that it is a Mount Rushmore DD album. I really hope Invisible gives Future Past more exposure and one more of those first four tracks go viral. All of You and GIAU are peak DD songcraft. About time Wing got some love from a wider audience too, which might convince the band to drop it into the live set. I agree regarding All of You but GIAU became a huge grower for me quite a while after the album was released, particularly with thanks to Erol Alkan's remixes which are excellent.

INVISIBLE (all caps) is a very special song for me and I hold it right up there with the very best of Duran Duran's songs. It would be a smart move for the band/management to shrewdly capitalise on its new audience by:
a) recording a video message to the fans to herald 10 million Spotify streams for INVISIBLE (all caps)
b) putting out a press release/news article to celebrate the 10 million streams AND the fact that recently it has become the most streamed Duran Duran song on vinyl
c) releasing a limited edition (and inevitably expensive) 7" vinyl single release, like an increasing number of bands are doing due to the vinyl revival. Perhaps as a record store release, with a nice exclusive B-side (eg the original version of Hammerhead when it was merged with Invocation before the rapping was added)
d) restore it to the live set! Perhaps not as the opening song, but there could be a nice intro from one of the band beforehand that heralds its newfound popularity and the importance of the band making new songs and how lovely its found an audience etc

of caurse its amazing that a relatively new DD song has streaming traffic but isnt the 210000 streams worldwide? they have to get at 1 mil per day worldwide at least. 200k streams is low.

I think this is US only not sure if it's WW..but I could be wrong. The issue is that Mgmt/PR don't do enough with streaming DD hence the low #'s. No excuses if other legacy bands can get higher numbers...DD's Mgmt is not even trying. Imagine, if a DD song is featured on Stranger Things for the last and final season? That's what DD needs..to boost their streaming portfolio..it's very weak and nonexistent IMO..

This is what DDMgmt should have been pushing for a song on upcoming GTA game. www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-67635381They need a song on a cool video game and song like Tom Petty's Love is a Long Road for GTA 6 coming out in 2025! That is the kind of thing to get you streams...
