In my inbox for the Hot Adult Contemporary radio station I program here in Wisconsin, I just got an email from BMG promoting "Evil Woman" to Hot AC/AC/Modern AC radio beginning next Friday. So, it's definitely the next "single" here in the States as far as radio is concerned (I also program a Classic Hits station in the same building, and we're gonna play that song on a weekly feature where we highlight new releases from classic artists).

Interesting. I'll be curious to see if it makes any impact. It's certainly an enjoyable song. What was the last single BMG promoted to your station?
I'm fascinated by new music from 80s artists. I have a playlist that I'm always adding to. Spotify's Release Radar is pretty good about letting me know when an 80s artist releases new music, but it isn't unusual for it to miss something despite my following the artist so I'm always on the lookout for more. The playlist has been around for over ten years now, so I renamed it "80s Legacy" since music from 2010 isn't actually "new" anymore. 😂

Funny how BMG promotes a cover but crickets for Black Moonlight ⚫️ which is an original vs a Cover song? I don't get that! I hope Sirius Pulse pushes this song!

Both were in heavy rotation on Sirius Pulse..especially Anniversary..

It was released a few months ago but it sounds like it was recorded in 1984.

I love it when a band recreates their 80s sound to the point where I can be fooled into thinking it’s 40 years old.

It was "Black Moonlight" (I thought I'd deleted the email, but there it was -- I probably kept it since it was a Duran Duran-related promo :-) -- still in my Inbox from September, 2023). Also, another good place to go to find new music from '80s artists (and other decades) is The Heritage Chart from the UK. I check it weekly to see if there's something I should consider for that weekly segment on my Classic Hits station. Here's the link: The Heritage Chart

Did your station end up playing Black Moonlight? Did it chart at all? I seem to remember Anniversary made it to 39 on some billboard adult chart. Interesting. It did peak well below our usual range of adds (73 on the national Hot Adult Contemporary chart according to Mediabase), so I'm not sure I would have added it -- as much as I would have wanted to as a Duranie. :-) I do see "Evil Woman" at 88 on the latest Hot AC chart, though that's with the active label promotion just starting now.

I see "Evil Woman" is now up to #49 on the U.S. Mediabase Hot AC chart, up 51 spins to 99 for this past week. It's their biggest Hot AC radio hit since "ANNIVERSARY" got to #33 in November, 2021.
