Never heard that this was a digital promo? "As Seen From a Distance" (digital promo) 2016 Link? I think it was released for DD appreciation day, or something link that, as an MP3. There is probably a download link on the wiki timeline somewhere. Its also a release here duranduran.fandom.com/wiki/Paper_Gods_-_UK:_VF212anyone out there / planet earth 7 inch single Brazil 1981 I was also thinking about the Sound of Thunder 12", which I had. I guess there are so many promo releases. As seen from a distance was never released as a promo single Never released on DD Day.

This is also wrong:
The Man Who Stole A Leopard" (single 4 track promo) 2012 (This is a bootleg)
Only released as a digital download from DDAD in 2012
The Man Who Stole A Leopard (Gosteffects Remix)

The “promo EP” you show there is an obvious fake, just look at the tracklist…

Don't know if it's been mentioned but there was an EP in 2010 called "From Mediterranea with love" on Itunes. It contained Mediterranea, Sunrise (live version) and Ordinary World (live version).
So I guess Mediterranea was an official single too.

EPs aren't singles.

To me singles count when they are meant to be commercial. They should be gettable in most countries, but at least in the UK. They have to have a video and at least a bit of serious promotion. I would not count one-country-only singles, promotional singles, nowadays song-drops from forthcoming or reissue albums, lyric videos, digital mixes for DD appreciation day, 7" specials, 12" specials and so on. Although this is fun, it leads to nothing.
My THE SINGLES FROM 1981 TO 2024 would include:
PLANET EARTH CARELESS MEMORIES GIRLS ON FILM
MY OWN WAY HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF SAVE A PRAYER RIO
IS THERE SOMETHING I SHOULD KNOW
UNION OF THE SNAKE NEW MOON ON MONDAY THE REFLEX
THE WILD BOYS
A VIEW TO A KILL
NOTORIOUS SKIN TRADE MEET EL PRESIDENTE
I DON'T WANT YOUR LOVE ALL SHE WANTS IS DO YOU BELIEVE IN SHAME
BURNING THE GROUND
VIOLENCE OF SUMMER SERIOUS
ORDINARY WORLD COME UNDONE TOO MUCH INFORMATION
PERFECT DAY WHITE LINES
OUT OF MY MIND ELECTRIC BARBARELLA
SOMEONE ELSE NOT ME
SUNRISE WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW
FALLING DOWN
ALL YOU NEED IS NOW GIRL PANIC
PRESSURE OFF LAST NIGHT IN THE CITY
FIVE YEARS INVISIBILE ANNIVERSARY
DANSE MACABRE BLACK MOONLIGHT EVIL WOMAN

of note, some Level 42 fans put together (with blessing of band) an official discography book with pictures of the major album and single releases (various formats). Would be cool if there is a super-collector that might want to do something with the Duran Duran official singles showing all of the cover artwork from all of the Singles Art and formats.
