I've put our numbers on donotcall lists and fill out the optout info and still get TM calls.
For nuisance calls, I simply tell the TM that I'm a 24 hour answering service and they will never get a hold of the person they are trying to call unless they leave a number.

Yeah filling out those privacy forms are not 100% guaranteed, unfortunately. It takes a lot of work to turn the company in if they call you after you've filled the form out. They are hoping you just won't go through with it.
It's ridiculous.

We're on the Do Not Call registry as well, but our own phone company calls us all the time to sell us on different services. Other than that, we've been pretty fortunate.

I NEVER answer my phone. I have caller ID so I only pick up if I know the person who is calling. Other wise it just rings.

Our state had a do not call list before the national thing went into effect. I think between the two I really luck out. I hardly get any junk calls. Way to get rid of credit card companies quickly? Tell them you were a victim of identity theft, have a fraud alert on your credit history, and aren't getting any new credit cards. They don't usually have good come backs for that one. edited typo

some jackass called today. it must have been his first (and last) day. He sounded drunk, that is, when he spoke. I hung up on him, it was a waste of my time.
I can hear all sorts of others on phones in the same room.

I get alot of "customer service follow up" calls from the phone company or anyone else I recen tly did business or had to make a service call too. I usually tell them that the service was fine until they decided to call me up & waste my time with this crap. Geez, Corporate America can be so insecure at times.

I told you guys years ago! Just tell them that your dog told you that you can't talk to them and besides you need to go out and buy more aluminum because the mother ship will be coming soon so there is no reason for you to even talk to them! ;D
