Have you ever seen the movie La vita e bella? About a father who is put in a concentration camp with his son. To protect his son he acts like it is all a game....very impressive movie...made me cry too..

Life is Beautiful - I full-on sob watching this movie.
Hope Floats - when she goes to her father in the nursing home and dances with him; reminds me of my 'Gran' before he died.
The Crossing Guard - the very end....redemption and forgiveness. TEARS.
Passion of the Christ - a beautiful, powerful film, regardless of Mel Gibson.

Dances With Wolves...love that film but every single time they shoot Two Socks I am inconsolable.
Titanic was awful to watch and not just b/c the real outcome but the secondary plot was implausible. The Notebook bored me to tears. Passion of the Christ was also boring. And no concentration camp movies for me. Seen too many of them in high school. And United 93 is a no for me, since I lived through that again and again for years, living so close to the actual crash site at the time. (btw, the above is merely my opinion and not meant to put down anyone who feels differently)

the aussie war film "gallipoli," starring a young and beautiful mel gibson, ALWAYS makes me cry. the ending is just so tragic and highly unfair...

I can't cry watching E.T. I'm all cried out over that lil alien.
Beaches: it starts with the "you are my sunshine" road trip and doesn't end til it's over. Fried Green Tomatoes: when Kathy Rhodes' charcter thinks her friend has died (but she went home instead) Edward Scissorhands: i weep a little for him, it's not really a tear jerker.
For some reason Disney animated features (pinoccio, snow white, etc.) chokes me up. why is that? am I expecting something?
other things...
that superbowl theme song makes me cry.

I ALWAYS cry at The Colour Purple...
I bawled like a baby when I saw Titanic in the theater...
And most recently, I cried like a baby when I saw The Pursuit of Happyness at the theater. That one is a TOTAL tear jerker, and Will Smith does an AMAZING job in it...

Forrest Gump- When Jenny dies. Titanic- When Kate Winslett wakes up and see's he's dead. Also the part where she looks up and sees the Statue of Liberty. Schnidler's List- Most of the movie. Especially the end where they show all the survivors. The Lion King- When Mustapha dies.

I'm an emotional washrag so I really try to avoid crying movies. Here are some I can't avoid.
My Girl The Color Purple A Walk to Remember The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Can't buy me love ( the scene when Ronald stands up for Kenneth) Purple Rain (when Prince sings the Beautiful Ones)

Hope Floats - when she goes to her father in the nursing home and dances with him; reminds me of my 'Gran' before he died. One of my all time favorite movies. The part that gets me is when the daughter thinks her dad is coming to take her home, and he gets in the car and leaves her. And she is just sobbing and calling for Daddy. Breaks my heart every time!
