I am a sissy. The Color Purple makes me cry at the end. But then again, it makes my Marine brother cry, too... I've just watched the Color Purple for at least the 50th time. I cry my head off starting with the "God is Trying to Tell You Something" scene, straight through to the end. Then I rewind to that same spot and watch it again dry eyed. I've just done that twice, now. I sang "God Is Trying to Tell You Something" to my dog on the 3rd go around...he LOVES when I sing gospel or soul to him. It's kinda funny. And, yes...I know I am crazy. |

i also rarely cry at movies .. but i agree with schindlers list
and that movie where meryl streep is the mom who gets sick with cancer?
