I kind of got an inkling that it was about to go, after seeing tasos sign on, sign off, sign back on again and then a user called "30seconds" sign on... So I took a screenie. Oh noes! The board is gone!
Well, that was a shot of adrenaline. I'm so tired that I was clicking on threads in this complacent fugue state, until I got that first Page Not Found message. Then I had the jolt of panic, the frantic clicking of denial, and the hurried saving of the last index page in my cache.
Oh well. At least maybe I can get some work done now.

I do wish the moderators, or Duran Duran, or whoever the heck is in charge had told us specifically when the plug was going to be pulled. A lot of people stayed up late last night for nothing, and weren't there for the end because they thought maybe we had till noon.
We could have budgeted our time so we had time to check PMs, do screengrabs, look at that one last thread, etc. Now - poof! It was just yanked.
Oh well - thanks to those who took screencaps of The End. Right now I'm kinda mad at the band for doing this...but that's another topic...
