Justin Timberlake has an old school R&B sound which I really like. And I have ALWAYS loved me some Timbaland, especially when he collaborated with Aaliyah. I can only imagine good things within a collaboration between DD and these guys.
But then again I am one of the few DD fans whose true allegiance lies with soul/hip hop music. Personally I was surprised that Timbaland would actually work with DD. It seemed like an odd combo to me, but I hope that it works out. If it does, it will be the shit!

I really liked her. And I, too, loved the tracks Timbaland did with her. Can't believe she's been gone for 5 1/2 years already... I'm an R&B/house music fan, with a little hip-hop thrown in. So I'm looking forward to the collabos. But Justin's "soulfulness" seems like an act to me. I think he is very smart in that he found a style he could copy and market sucessfully. I'm not feeling him as authentic. I liked him in N'Sync, though.

He's definitely not bringing the sexy onstage!;D

I never really liked Timberlake, until I was turned on to his music by a very unlikely source. While I wouldn't call myself a huge fan, I do think that he's very talented. I'm looking forward to hear what the collaboration sounds like. I'll reserve judgement on the material until then.

And wow, he looks just like his Dad!

I can't comment on the album as I've only been unlucky enough to hear the singles- but if the rest of it is like that then it's not for me- ditto if Duran come up with something similar if it's more along the lines of Rock your body which I thought had a good groove to it then- possibly ok but I'm not a fan of Timberlake so am not overly optimistic about all this but I'll wait till I hear it

I have not heard the album yet but I think the title is one of the dumbest titles ever. And I will say that his new songs don't even sound like him anymore, least the ones on the radio.

I'm trying to have an open mind too, but so far I'm on song #5 and I've skipped over 2 that I just couldn't do.

I haven’t said anything before but: I like Justin’s album, I love timbaland’s work and I’m looking forward to the collaboration. I’m an optimist but I’ll have to hear the music before passing judgment.
