www.dozencupcakes.com/A friend sent me this link and I just had to share. $2.50 each or $25 a dozen. I think I'll hit up Betty Crocker before I would buy from here. Interesting comment on society though...we'll buy anything for any price.

We have one called Sprinkles out in Beverly Hills I think. My friend had cupcakes from there she said they were damn good, but $$. I 'll settle for HM with real chocolate buttercream frosting YUMMY

I've been afraid to even enter the fitness thread.... And I prefer to bake my own cupcakes. I usually make them for birthdays at work and then we have a "decorate your own cupcake" party. Big grown up people like playing with frosting and sprinkles... erm... that didn't come out right.

DC has CakeLove which some people LOVE at $3 a cupcake. They have some interesting sounding flavor combinations but I think Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker are just as better.
I do like their mango filled eclaire creations.

cupcakes are v popular here in so cal and go for about $4.50 each.
unimportant trivia -- the dozen cupcakes is right around the corner from where I was born and for that matter from where I was concieved!
