I had a long talk with myself about my egocentrism.

My CD/record collection is currently at 3414 items so paring down 10 wasn't easy. The other issue is, I think there is very little on this list of 10 that other people here would have ever heard of, let alone enjoy. Although EVERY duran duran fan should check out #10 on my list because it is a Swedish band that is highly influenced by duran duran and sound a lot like them, or at least what duran duran sounded like before this upcoming album.
In Alphabetical order:
01. D-A-D - Everything Glows (2000) 02. duran duran - Medazzaland (1997) 03. Harvey Danger - King James Version (2000) 04. Imagine Dragons - Night Visions - UK Deluxe Edition (2013) 05. The Long Winters - Putting the Days to Bed (2006) 06. Nuno - Schizophonic (1996) 07. Placebo - Black Market Music (2000) 08. Queen - Jazz (1978) 09. Rush - Grace Under Pressure (1984) 10. The Sounds - Weekend (2013)
It wasn't until I compiled this list that I realized what an amazing year in music 2000 was! These 3 albums and Pop Trash and some more albums I love that didn't make this list! WOAH 2000!!! I seem to also have 4 decades represented. That is a nice balance.
