Already out of stock. cheapest on discogs is now 45 €. Plenty of copies available on discogs. But if you're in the US and still want the album you'll probably pay through the nose on shipping costs (and customs ?) as most copies that are still available are in Europe. None in the US

Well I have listened to it twice...there were lots of tweaks here and there to the mix when compared to Arena, the ITunes ATLGD, and of course the original radio show.
My notes...it sounds like whoever mixed it used the studio version of Tiger Tiger (as opposed to the studio version as it was being played at the show) and then they layered in some audience noise at the beginning, and end...it sounds odd that around 1:10 the audience noise goes completely away for 2 minutes, which probably wasn’t the case obviously back then.
To me it sounds like more percussive instrumentation is brought to the front of the mix...it also sounds like they maybe added some bass/kick drum effects to Rio and Careless Memories maybe? I don’t remember Roger’s feet ever being that active during his playing!
They included some Simon banter in between a few songs that I dont recall hearing before. Maybe from another show that was mixed in??
Still some really rough edits during Girls On Film...obviously the 12 minute version reigns supreme here!!
No crowd noise during most of Careless Memories (which was similar to Arena). Overall all it seems that the crowd noise was pushed way back in the mix.
A friend noted it sounded “dirty” or something. I think I have to agree...maybe they were trying to make it sound more “raw”?
Anyway, I’m happy this got released, I think the packaging and colored vinyls is fantastic!!
Curious to hear what others are hearing.

I think there should be a healthy balance between the two ends. Live tracks should have a decent amount of audience noise and volume, but not where it's overbearing either. For example, I have a really hard time listening to tracks off the A Diamond in the Mind album since the audience noise is just too darn loud at the beginning! Try having those things come up on shuffle sometime.

Back then Roger's bass drum foot was VERY active! Nothing was added. It's like that on Arena too, just not as audible.

Thats’s not on As the lights go down It’s basically a reissue of Arena in a different mix. I’ll pass. Someone said it's a double lp album? Agree

I went back and relistened to The ITunes Version and I can hear the beats now, way back in the mix, but yeah they are there. It’s amazing how you can listen to the same stuff for 30 years and sometimes the little, faint items aren’t noticeable until you hear it in a different mix, etc...or even in a different stereo environment, format, etc.

And yes, it is amazing what a different mix can bring out or take away!
