I heard more carefully, and I am changing my opinion.. for now, the conclusion that I reach, is that GOF and Planet Earth are not good.. but the other tracks appeared to be perfect.

I'm working on a comparison of all of the versions of this album released.
So far I have in my computer :
-Original UK vinyl (early pressing with silver embossed lines on the sleeve instead of the grey ones used in later editions)
-The Dutch vinyl pressing I bought in 1985
-The japanese vinyl (early pressing with poster included)
-1993 CD version without ITSISK and with To the Shore
-1995 CD with ITSISK and To The Shore added at the end
-2003 CD Remaster
-2010 CD remaster
So far the 1993 CD version sounds the best to my ears. I'll post a more detailed comparison later

looks like the first disc is worthless and the only reason to get this is disc 2 and the dvd. Anyone have any thoughts on the dvd? Haven't read too much on it but have seen a lot of the things on it already of course.

In my opinion, of course.

I'll go start one now, lol.

I've done some intensive comparing and the 1995 has more pronounced bass. So it is actually a remaster to my ears.
There's far more difference between my 1993 CD and the 1995 CD than there is between my 1993 CD and the original UK vinyl.
But I'm not implying that the 1993 CD is better of course. Everyone has his favourite.

No, because that is forbidden here. But I'll send you a pm later when I have access to my external HD. If we're going to post actual audio we will have to limit ourselves to a 20 second sample.
